Our electrical division is growing and we are seeking our first electrical service and installation technician.The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations, service calls, and maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.Key ResponsibilitiesReport to our Operations Service ManagerPerform electrical installations and upgrades according to specifications and local codesConduct service calls to troubleshoot and repair electrical issuesRead and interpret blueprints and schematics to facilitate installation and repair tasksEnsure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations during all workUtilize hand tools and power tools for installation, maintenance, and repair tasksTest electrical systems and circuits using diagnostic hardware and electrical metersCollaborate with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide expert solutionsMaintain accurate records of work performed and materials usedLaunch from home and follow the assigned daily service scheduleWork on-call, as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED4+ years of experience as an electrical service and installation technicianStrong knowledge of electrical installation and repair techniquesFamiliarity with electrical codes and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematicsProficient in the use of hand tools and power toolsStrong troubleshooting skills with electrical systems and circuitsExcellent communication skills and customer service orientationRelevant certifications in electrical installation or maintenance preferredAbility to travel locally for projectsAbility to work on an on-call scheduleBenefitsCompany vehicle, gas card & toolsCompany cell phone and laptopMedicalVisionDental401K with company matchingPaid HolidaysPTOEmployer-paid life insuranceEmployer-paid AD&D insuranceCareer training programs
