CNC Machinist

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate our CNC mills and lathes (Makino & Okuma brands running Fanuc controls).

Must-Haves

• Milling Experience: Proven experience with CNC milling is required.
  
  
• G-Code/Data: Must be able to read, understand, and generate your own code/data at the machine.
  
  
• Blueprints & Tools: Ability to read blueprints and accurately use tape measures, rules, and precision tools.
  
  
• Equipment: Solid experience running both mills and lathes.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our 1st-shift production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality, precision parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes (specifically Makino and Okuma brands).
  
  
• Programming & Editing: Read, understand, and generate your own G-code/M-code data at the machine using Fanuc controls.
  
  
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences.
  
  
• Quality Control: Utilize standard measuring tools—including tape measures, rules, calipers, and micrometers—to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet strict quality standards.
  
  

Position Requirements

"Must-Have" Qualifications:

• Proven experience with CNC Milling (this is a strict requirement for the role).
  
  
• Solid experience operating CNC Lathes.
  
  
• Proficiency with Fanuc operating systems and controls.
  
  
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
  
  
• Ability to independently write, edit, and troubleshoot G-code/M-code at the machine.
  
  
• High proficiency using tape measures, rules, and precision inspection tools.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs
