We're a growing Plant Health Care, tree, and landscape management company. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an in-house mechanic to take ownership of maintaining and managing our fleet of trucks, tools, and equipment.

This is a hands-on role focused on diagnosing issues, performance preventative maintenance, and ensuring our crews have reliable, safe equipment to get the job done every day. You'll play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly and minimizing downtime in the field.

While there are systems in place, we're looking for someone who works well independently, takes pride in their craft, and is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid drivers license

Must have their own tools

Must have a general knowledge of small equipment repairs and maintenance, chipper repair and maintenance, and snow plow repair and maintenance.

Job Description:

Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, machinery, and equipment

Running errands/occasionally pick up plants/job materials

Record keeping for trucks, machinery, and equipment

Occasional shop and office building repairs and general maintenance

Handling of field breakdowns and repairs

Maintain a clean and organized shop/yard

Assist in minimizing downtime and ensuring safety of field crews

Conduct regular safety audits of all equipment and vehicles

Track and order necessary supplies

Help with equipment tracking
