ABOUT THE ROLE
Coastal Housing is a growing property management company operating four apartment communities in Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. We're looking for a hands-on, self-sufficient maintenance technician to help keep our 72-unit portfolio running smoothly. You'll be handling everything from day-to-day work orders to full unit turnovers between tenants.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Respond to and complete tenant work orders across all four properties in a timely manner
- Perform unit turn renovations when tenants vacate painting, flooring, fixtures, cabinets, appliances, and general make-ready work
- Handle plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC filter changes, and minor carpentry
- Occasional grounds cleanup (properties are on a year-round lawn contract)
- Be available for occasional after-hours emergency calls
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Experience with unit renovations and make-ready work
- Reliable transportation you'll move between properties
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage your day
- Good communication with management and tenants
COMPENSATION
Pay: Starting at $20 hour, paid bi-weekly
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 30 hours/week
