Expected salary range of $110,700 to $123,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package th includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Plan and prepare work packages for work to be performed by the respective maintenance departments to ensure th the Clean Energy Center (CEC) maintenance is performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with the Quality Assurance (QA) manual, company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Plan and prepare work instructions th provide direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance and surveillance's, and the implemention of modificions. Select and approve purchase, or make procurement recommendions for all merials needed for work package execution.
  • Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modificion, and surveillance activities and to provide input for refining and improving work package quality. Interface and collabore with Work Management, Supply, Operions, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
  • Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and merials required to perform planned work packages. Facilite package preparion by preparing and/or submitting Out of Service (OOS's), Radiion Work Permit (RWP's), plant barrier impairments, welding/grinding permits, fire impairments, Operability impact stements, As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) task outs, Regulory/Code documention, Nuclear Oversight (NOS) hold/witness points, freeze seal and temporary leak repair documention, and other requests.
  • Verify work instructions are adeque and comply with all applicable CEC procedures including Nuclear Safeguard Protocol (NSPs), Nional Stregy for Space Nuclear Power and Propulsion (NSWPs), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code, etc. Approve and review all required work packages to ensure safety, high quality, technical rigor, and 10CFR50.59 screening or evaluion (if required).
  • Develop revise, and review maintenance procedures to facilite and enhance work package development, maintain compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendion, and maintenance direction.
  • Provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparion.
  • Participe in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback/craft interface time, detailed contract requisition reviews, complex troubleshooting, EQR2 reviews, detailed Opering Experience (OPEX) searches, Maintenance risk request reviews, Planner peer reviews, and system interaction reviews to ensure applicable CEC processes and applicable changes are supported.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Minimum Qualificions

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of reled experience OR
  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operor license with 2 years of reled experience OR
  • Associe's degree with 3 years of reled experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 4 years of reled experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinion and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualificions

5 years of experience in nuclear power plant operions
