Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Kent, WA. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with 3 to 5 years of experience supporting facility operations, equipment reliability, and general building systems.

The Maintenance Technician will play an important role in keeping equipment, machinery, and facility systems operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems to reduce downtime and support safe operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues.
- Repair or replace defective components and respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs, equipment concerns, and potential safety issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, work orders, and documentation using basic computer systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, facility improvement projects, and vendor or contractor coordination as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and building maintenance issues.
- Complete inspections, work orders, maintenance logs, and repair documentation.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.

- 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience preferred in facilities, manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, property management, or related environments.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and hands-on repair skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation, work orders, and maintenance tracking.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- Commitment to following safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around machinery, equipment, and varying environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting maintenance operations in residential, commercial, office, construction, facilities, or property management environments.
- Familiarity with vendor coordination, contractor support, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems or digital work order tracking tools.
