HVAC Service Technician

Kalamazoo, MI

$28-$50/hour (Based on Experience)

Full-Time | Commercial & Industrial Service Work

Position Overview:

We're looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team servicing commercial and industrial clients in the Kalamazoo area. This role is perfect for a self-driven technician who thrives in the field, values quality workmanship, and delivers excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, service, and repairs on HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, and more

• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and longevity

• Use mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve system issues

• Accurately document service activity using a handheld device

• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage tools and materials effectively

• Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers while on site

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service experience

• EPA Universal Certification (Required)

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain professionalism and provide top-tier customer service

• Experience with chillers, boilers, or hydronic systems (Preferred)

• OSHA 10 Certification (We'll provide if not currently certified)

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass background check, drug screen, physical ability test, and MVR check

• Valid driver's license required

• Field-based role with local territory assignments
