Refrigeration Technician - Commercial HVAC/R

Location: Chantilly, VA

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $40-$50/hour (based on experience) + Overtime

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair small to large commercial refrigeration systems, including:

• Walk-in coolers and freezers

• Reach-in units

• Display cases

• Ice machines

• Maintain and repair associated control systems and components

• Use instruments to test parts and verify proper system operation

• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to perform necessary repairs

• Communicate findings to supervisors and customers; ensure high service quality

• Provide preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability

• Document all work accurately and maintain safety procedures on-site

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in commercial refrigeration service and repair
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across a range of refrigeration systems
• Rack refrigeration experience (preferred but not required)
• Universal EPA Certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and unscheduled overtime
