Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced hard-working individual who is motivated, has a positive, can-do attitude, and is eager to learn. You will assist in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and diesel trucks while ensuring top-quality service.

Assist in performing routine maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, driving record check, supervisory references and criminal background check.
Maintain clean and organized workspaces, tools, and equipment.
Document work performed and communicate progress to senior mechanics or supervisors.
Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds.
Participate in training sessions to improve technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver?s license is required.
Active DOT medical card preferred. Candidates without a current card must be willing to obtain one.
Candidate must have their own tools.
Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and systems.
Position requires basic computer skills.
Willingness to learn and take directions from experienced technicians.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of diesel mechanics helpful.
Maintain orderly and safe work area.
Must have a clean driving record with no moving violations.
