Position Summary: As our Commercial HVAC Service Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our field operations. You are responsible for overseeing complex commercial HVAC infrastructuresincluding central plants and Building Management Systems (BMS)while transitioning from a pure technician role into strategic management. You will direct dispatch, maximize system uptime for our clients, and cultivate the growth of junior technicians through active leadership and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Department Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the service department, manage dispatch, and optimize routes/schedules for maximum efficiency.

Team Mentorship & Development: Build and develop a world-class team. Provide active leadership, conduct performance reviews, and implement structured on-the-job training for junior staff.

Strategic Growth: Assist in driving the company's revenue goals by identifying opportunities for equipment modernization, preventative maintenance contracts, and major repairs.

Advanced Technical Support: Serve as the final authority on complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for large-scale equipment (e.g., chillers, cooling towers, boilers).S

System Integration & BMS: Oversee the operation, calibration, and optimization of Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Project Stewardship: Manage client communications regarding system health, prepare accurate labor and material estimates, and ensure all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to code.

Qualifications: 8+ years of advanced experience in commercial and industrial HVAC service, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.Technical Mastery: Expertise in central plants, BMS, chillers, boilers, DX systems, and complex refrigeration/HVAC architecture.

Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required; NATE certification or relevant trade licenses are highly preferred.Leadership

Skills: Proven ability to manage, train, and inspire a team of field technicians.

Business Acumen: Ability to handle P&L management, vendor relations, and high-level client interactions.
