Equipment Mechanic Pumps & Generators Full-Time

We are a locally owned equipment rental, sales, and service company looking for a reliable, experienced Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
This position focuses primarily on pumps and generators, along with light construction equipment.

What Youll Be Working On
Trash pumps (Gas & Diesel), Electric Submersible Pumps and Control Panels
Generators (Diesel and Gas)
Rental fleet equipment + customer-owned units
Occasional field/service calls (company service truck provided)

What Were Looking For
Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment (required)
Ability to read parts diagrams & electrical schematics (required)
Working knowledge of gas and diesel engines (no engine rebuilds)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
We are willing to train the right candidate but you must come in with solid foundational experience

Typical Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Perform preventative maintenance (fluids, filters, belts, etc.)
Rebuild pumps and related equipment
Keep clean and organized work area
Communicate clearly with team on repair status
