True Heat Solutions is a growing company seeking a dependable, hardworking, and mechanically inclined Warehouse Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying organized, operating equipment, and helping support multiple departments within a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of our warehouse, equipment, vehicles, and yard. This individual will perform dump runs, operate forklifts and company vehicles, maintain tools and equipment, and assist other departments as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Warehouse & Yard Operations
Organize, clean, and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional warehouse environment.
Perform yard cleanup and general facility maintenance.
Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials and equipment.
Transportation & Equipment Operations
Perform dump runs and transport debris, materials, and equipment.
Safely pull and maneuver trailers behind company vehicles.
Operate company dump trucks as required.
Operate propane forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
Deliver and pick up materials, supplies, and equipment from vendors and job sites.
Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance
Clean and maintain company vehicles, trailers, and gas-powered equipment.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on small equipment.
Complete simple oil changes and routine servicing of equipment.
Jump-start and charge batteries as needed.
Monitor equipment condition and report repair needs.
General Maintenance
Replace light bulbs and perform minor facility repairs.
Assist with maintaining warehouse tools and equipment.
Support shop organization and inventory management.
Help ensure all equipment is operational and ready for field crews.
Team Support
Assist other departments when additional support is needed.
Participate in company-wide projects and special assignments.
Maintain a positive attitude and team-first mentality.
Qualifications
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Ability to drive trucks and safely pull trailers.
Ability to operate or learn to operate a propane forklift.
General mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
Basic knowledge of small engines, electrical equipment, or gas-powered equipment is preferred.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
