Job Title: Construction Electrician

Salary: $38.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
-Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in both residential custom homes and large-scale commercial projects, including wiring, lighting, control panels, and distribution equipment.
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to determine wiring layouts and ensure compliance with Alberta building and safety regulations.
-Perform electrical rough-ins, terminations, and final installations for new construction, renovations, and service upgrades.
-Integrate energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions in line with HOMESENs commitment to eco-friendly building practices.
-Plan and route electrical wiring through walls, ceilings, and underground conduits, ensuring proper load distribution and safety.
-Work with contractors, project managers, and other trades to coordinate electrical work within construction timelines.
-Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
-Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring all work are performed safely and efficiently.

Employment Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required.
-Trade certification for construction electricians is required.
-Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
-Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
