Position Summary
The Line Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of bottling line equipment and facility systems. This role performs line changeovers, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, machine installations, and upgrades while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The Line Mechanic works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, maximize operational efficiency, and support production goals.

Equipment Maintenance & Operations
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on bottling line equipment and facility systems.
Execute efficient line changeovers to support production schedules and operational demands.
Install, upgrade, and maintain machinery and related equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify maintenance needs.
Minimize downtime through timely repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
Maintain machinery and facility grounds to established operational standards.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all maintenance safety requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
Ensure equipment repairs and maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Report safety concerns, accidents, and near-miss incidents immediately.
Participate in safety inspections, audits, and accident investigations.

Adhere to all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and line efficiencies.
Support initiatives that improve production performance, quality, and cost control.
Recommend solutions to reduce maintenance costs and operational waste.
Assist in implementing annual maintenance plans and process improvements.
Collaborate with production and other departments to maintain product quality and line performance.
Take ownership of maintenance-related standard operating procedures and best practices.
