Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform general maintenance tasks including general clean up and grounds duties along with building and equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure the systems are properly maintained and the community is kept safe and clean.
Compensation:$25 per hour
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and work orders (plumbing, electrical, HVAC repair, painting, drywall repair, pressure washing) in units, on buildings, systems, common areas and amenities
Maintain recreational amenities (i.e. lounge areas, pool area, etc)
Conduct routine inspections
Complete preventative maintenance tasks
Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment
Complete grounds work to keep the outside of the community safe, clean and free of debris
Clear debris and maintain drives and walkways in safe condition
Assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise
Regularly inspects grounds to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair
Assist with other maintenance and grounds dutiesas needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong communications skills (including written).
Proven initiative and strong work ethic. Must successfully pass a pre-employment 7-year criminal investigation and drug screening.
Must have general knowledge of building mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical
Education and Experience:
Must have experience using power and handheld tools
Building management/facilities experience is required (2+ years)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level
Able to work in various weather conditions such as heat, rain, cold, wind, etc.
Work will primarily be outdoors.
Work Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Work Hours:Monday - Friday, Regular schedule is 7a - 3:30, subject to change based on business needs.
