Position: Production Assembler

Location: Amphenol Ardent Concepts - Hampton, NH

Amphenol Ardent Concepts is a leading designer and manufacturer of highperformance multicoax and coaxial assemblies, connectors, and sockets used inthe development of next generation semiconductors and electronics systems. Ourcore technology is the smallest, fastest, and most electrically efficientcompression mount connector technology worldwide. As data rate requirementsincrease and devices and systems shrink, Ardent Concept's products deliversuperior signal integrity in a dense footprint that can be reusable acrossprograms to maximize cost savings.

No experience necessary. Willing to train crew members who demonstrate excellenthand/eye coordination with microscopic parts, who otherwise qualify. Candidatesthat have experience with arts and crafts, small model building, jewelry making,or small intricate mechanical devices may have the skills applicable to workwith these micro assembly products. This is a full time, first shift position.The hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Micro assembly product lines while working through microscopePrepare and assemble materials, build product subassemblies or finalassemblies, plate product.Test and inspect products or subassemblies for functionality and quality.Set up and operate production fixtures and tools in accordance with goodmanufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to engineering prints.Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health,safety and environmental compliance.Clean production equipment, products, and work areas.Measure and record data associated with products.Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High level of hand/eye coordination with ability to work extended periods ona microscopeAbility to perform mathematical calculationsFamiliarity with engineering drawings is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentPhysical agility

This job operates in a lab/manufacturing setting. While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes and moving mechanicalparts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Computers andmachines are used, and the employee must be coordinated and have the ability tolift and or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this jobinclude close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. Must have depthperception and ability to adjust focus.
