In this role, you will perform a variety of vehicle inspections, maintenance and repair services. We provide the tools needed!Perform vehicle and equipment maintenanceChange oil, oil filters and fuel filtersPossibility to go on service calls in the field to repair equipment as neededInspection of vehicles for mechanical deficienciesRepair and maintenance on light duty trailersBased on knowledge and training, other maintenance and repair may includeInstall batteries and check electrical systemsInstall and perform tire maintenanceBrake components, tires, state safety inspections, interior/exterior safety componentsAbility to road test vehiclesAbility to install parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systemsHandle and dispose of all fluids as defined by MSDS and in accordance with all Federal, State and local regulationsCreate and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records as defined/directed by fleet managerLearn new technical information and techniques Keeping fleet manager informed of equipment repair statusMaintain a clean, safe job area: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to mitigate hazardsEnsures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
