Service Technician

Service Mechanic/Technician The Service Technician position provides value to the dealership by delivering quality diagnostic, preventative, and regular maintenance services to internal and external customers. This position-holder directly affects the customer experience through the quality and expediency of his or her work product that reflects directly on the dealership.

Starting Pay: $18.00 /hour (review at 6 & 12 months)

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Duties:

1. Assemble new golf cars.
2. Assist customers in need, regardless of department (sales, service, parts).
3. Diagnose and repair two and four stroke engines.
4. Remove and replace engine components as necessary on golf cars.
5. Remove and replace golf car bodies, parts and accessories.
6. Perform preventative and regular maintenance on golf cars.
7. Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
8. Explain diagnostic test results to customers.

Qualifications:

Clean driving record/Valid Drivers License.

Mechanically inclined.

Ability to multitask & problem solve.

Able to work 40+ hours a week especially in busy season (May-Aug).

Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background.

Volt meter experience Basic electrical/wiring experience Working Conditions/Physical

Requirements:

Shop environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting and heavy lifting.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift, pull or push at least 40 pounds.

Ability to safely operate golf cars.
