Senior Maintenance Technician II

Maintenance Technician Bedford Park, IL (Quarterly Bonus Pay-outs!) Shift: 2nd / 3rd Shift | Pay: $31.59 - $48.41/hr (based on experience)

The Opportunity:WestRock Bedford Park is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform extensive preventative maintenance and repairs on plant electrical and mechanical systems. A strong electrical background is required.What You Will Do:Repair buildings, mechanical systems, and production equipment.Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring and control circuits.Apply NFPA 70E standards strictly in all situations.Execute scheduled PMs like greasing bearings and replacing filters.Calibrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical production systems.Utilize computer systems to manage maintenance work orders.Maintain accurate records of all completed checklists.Communicate effectively with teams, management, and outside vendors.

What You Need to Succeed:

Required: Robust electrical background and strong troubleshooting skills.Desired: Experience with PLCs, print reading, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Plus: Boiler License, or willingness to obtain one.
