Job DescriptionJob Description

We're seeking an experienced Diesel/ Trailer Mechanic with extensive truck & trailer experience. Background with various trailer components and operations is preferred. This includes: Axles, suspensions, brakes, drivetrain, electrical systems and lighting. (flatbed, dump, lowboy, etc.)

Responsibilities Include:

Diagnosing, Repairing, and Maintaining diesel- powered equipment and trailers while also ensuring all work meets safety standards and DOT regulations.

Applicants should:

> Be able to maintain accurate service and repair records

> Be able read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

> Be able to work independently and as part of a team

> Be proficient with diagnostic tools and shop equipment

> Be detailed orientated with strong communication skills

Applicants must have:

> Good time Management Skills

> A strong commitment to safety

> A Valid Driver's License (CDL is a Plus)

> Scheduling flexibility including Nights and/or Weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

> Background experience with custom heavy-duty equipment builds

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, climbing, walking, and stoopingComfortable working in an environment with loud noises and varying temperaturesRegular use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Work Environment:

Exposure to extreme temperatures, moving equipment, and other hazardous materialsMay require flexibility in working hours, including weekends if necessary

Other Duties:

Communicating with customers and staff, invoicing, general upkeep and cleaning.
