What You’ll Do
- Bring machines to life by assembling precision mechanical systems and subassemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and build instructions
- Fit, align, and fine-tune components so everything runs like it should (and sometimes better)
- Work with engineers and technicians to solve real build challenges on the floor
- Test, troubleshoot, and improve assemblies before they ship out into the world
- Use a mix of hand tools, measuring instruments, and sharp attention to detail
- Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or similar hands-on roles
- Comfortable working with technical drawings and precision tools
- Mechanical aptitude—you know how things should fit and function
- A problem-solver who doesn’t just spot issues, but helps fix them
- Team player with a “let’s build it right” mindset
- Bonus: experience with automation, robotics, or high-tech machinery

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Assemble mechanical, pneumatic, and sometimes hydraulic components into machines or subassemblies
- Fit, align, and adjust parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Install motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, sensors, and other machine components
- Perform basic electrical hookups or coordinate with electricians when required
- Verify dimensions and alignment using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and alignment tools
- Test assembled machines or systems to ensure proper operation and performance
- Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues, misalignments, or defective components
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control standards
- Document assembly steps, measurements, and any deviations or rework performed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with safety regulations (OSHA)
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel to resolve build issues
- Perform final inspection before machine shipment or handoff
- Handle proper handling, storage, and identification of parts and materials
- Assist with teardown, repair, or modification of existing machines when needed
