PCB Assembler Solderer - 1st Shift

Our client is looking for One Additional Hand Solderer on 1st shift for their NPI area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company that supports a variety of market sectors, including aerospace, medical, military, and more. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of soldering operations on PCBAs, including SMT and thru-hole components, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Youll support PCB assembly, rework, troubleshooting, and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure high standards are maintained.

In this role, you will:

• Perform soldering of SMT and thru-hole components at IPC Class 2 standards with minimal supervision
• Support PCBA assembly, rework, and troubleshooting of moderate complexity
• Conduct inspections, identify defects, and make corrections independently
• Maintain accurate production records and adhere to documentation standards
• Assist team members with guidance and informal training
• Participate in rework processes, including hot air soldering and minor BGA rework
• Follow all ESD, safety, and company quality procedures

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

• 24 years of hand soldering experience, including SMT and thru-hole
• Ability to read and interpret PCBA documentation and mechanical drawings
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Skilled in soldering, with proficiency in supporting PCB assembly and rework
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification strongly preferred
• Experience with troubleshooting and quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
• Strong computer and communication skills
