We are seeking a highly dynamic CNC Machinist at our Zelienople, PA facility. This team member will work M-F from 6:00am-2:30pm. This position performs measuring operations within the scope of operations for all equipment. We need someone with a solid mechanical aptitude, precise measuring skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to read detailed drawings, blueprints, machining procedures, and shop travelers. This position will report directly to the Machine Shop Group Leader. What you'll do Review project assignments/instructions from Team Leader. Review drawings and machining requirements for this job. Program CNC Machines with Fagor conversational controls. Obtain an understanding of the task and develop an action plan. Set up the machine and other required equipment. Supervise machines and make any adjustments to produce better results. Ensure work meets quality standards. Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes. What you'll bring A combination of training and at least 2 years of CNC machining experience is required for this position. High School diploma or GED required. . Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, hear safety alarms, climb ladders, and wear safety boots. Must take initiative and be able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the team. Read and understand Robinson's detailed drawings, blueprints, machining procedures, and shop travelers. Stay up to date on CNC programming technology. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must learn quickly how to use all Robinson Machine Shop equipment, tools, and all cranes. Strong computer skills to enter job logs and job information. Well-organized and able to adapt and effectively multi-task, prioritize. Must have strong technical skills and can maneuver and build systems and develop the processes behind them. Sense of initiative and proactivity. Willingness to learn and cross-train in other departments. Attention to detail. Ability to accept feedback and adapt to change. Originality and resourcefulness when setting out solutions.
