Job Summary and Qualifications A Lead Maintenance Tech will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned facilities, areas, and equipment to include plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, painting, heating and cooling and other building systems. The Lead Maintenance Tech will also serve as the lead position in mentoring and guiding the Maintenance Techs. An ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of maintenance procedures, thorough knowledge of basic hand and power tools, as well as exhibit an ability to lead others. To excel in this position you must be an outstanding problem solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills. You will also need to lead others by example, through all aspects of general maintenance required. What qualifications you will need:- 2 year certificate, or other vocational training in a building trade, building maintenance technology or relevant field, or
- Relevant maintenance work experience with 1 year supervising or leadership skills in a healthcare setting.
- 5 years relevant maintenance work experience in a healthcare setting required
