Position Summary
The Facilities Manager, working and planning with the in conjunction with the Maintenance Crew, and Trade Contractors, is responsible for the maintenance of all areas of The Sanford Center.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures that all safety precautions are always followed. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner to reduce hazards
Leads, directs, participates in, and provides insight into the maintenance of the HVAC and related system operations and computerized maintenance management systems that support work order management and preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.
Programs and monitors the BMS (Building Management System) to ensure energy efficiency scheduling/operation of the HVAC and other systems to optimize performance and savings.
Operate, monitor, repair and maintain the facilitys mechanical systems, plumbing, irrigation, environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC and lighting systems as required for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Trains maintenance personnel to perform temperature set point adjustments, respond to alarms, and how to reset systems to proper operation.
Verifying completed maintenance and entering the data into a tracking system
Hires, schedules, and supervises maintenance staff.
Provide safety and operational training as required to the crew.
Project management as assigned by the GM/Director of Operations.
Directs contracted building maintenance.
Attend professional development training sessions as directed.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, stooping, lifting, and walking. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work inside or outside environments as necessary
Proficiency with general office PC applications
Minimum Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED certificate
AA Degree in HVAC or related subjects preferred
Experience in similar facility preferred
Ability to manage complex logistics in support of large, public events.
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Abilities
