We are seeking a skilled Diesel & Equipment Mechanic to support operations at our prefabrication plant in Oklahoma. This position is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel trucks, light-duty vehicles, and plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
This is a steady, non-travel position with consistent hours and a strong team environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks, pickups, and equipment
Maintain and repair prefabrication plant equipment (forklifts, welders, generators, etc.)
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Keep accurate maintenance records and service logs
Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
Work closely with operations to minimize downtime
Qualifications:
2+ years experience as a diesel and/or heavy equipment mechanic
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to work on both diesel and gasoline vehicles
Experience with shop tools and diagnostic equipment
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
CDL is a plus but not required
Strong work ethic and reliability
Compensation & Benefits:
$22 $32/hour depending on experience (aligned with Oklahoma market rates)
Overtime available
Stable, full-time work (no long-term travel required)
