Diesel Mechanic and Gas Mobile Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic and gas mobile mechanics will perform regular preventive maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles owned by Drill Sub Engineering Inc. Additionally, Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations concerning vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety. This position does not involve supervisory duties.

Essential Functions:

- Conducts routine preventative maintenance on Drill Sub vehicles, including but not limited to: lubrication of automotive equipment such as chassis, oil and filter changes, gearbox fill or drain and flush, wheel bearing packing, and all other necessary lubrication procedures, perform repairs and maintenance on trailers.
- Ensures vehicle operational safety by verifying functions such as brakes, clutch, lights, mirrors, wipers, tires, etc.
- Changes and repairs tires and performs battery service as needed.
- Installs antifreeze and services cooling systems by filling, draining, flushing, and inspecting/replacing hoses.
- Performs minor repairs including replacement of lights, spark plugs, and ignition parts.
- Safely operates all necessary tools and equipment required for assigned duties.
- Drives service trucks for parts pickup and provides roadside service as required.
- Adheres to all safety regulations and wears personal protective equipment as necessary.

Education and/or Experience: . 1+ year experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial trucks or equivalent certified training/education.
