Cable Technician

Low Voltage Technician (Structured Cabling) Location: Waterbury, Hartford, New Haven We are seeking reliable and experienced Low Voltage Technicians to support an upcoming structured cabling project. This is a fast-paced environment with consistent work for technicians who take pride in clean, efficient installs. Key Responsibilities: Pull, route, and secure Cat5e/Cat6 cabling Terminate cables using keystone jacks, patch panels, and RJ45 connectors Perform testing and troubleshooting of installed cabling Read and follow basic prints, layouts, and work orders Maintain a clean and organized job site Work safely on lifts as required Required Qualifications: Active Low Voltage License (CT preferred) C-5, C-6, T1, T2 Hands-on experience with structured cabling installations Experience with cable pulling, terminating, and testing Comfortable working at heights and operating lifts Strong reliability and attendance Nice to Have: Experience in large commercial or warehouse environments Basic understanding of fiber optic cabling (a plus) Work Environment: Fast-paced commercial project setting Team-oriented crew with consistent workflow Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hartford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
