Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring machine repair and project planning to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. This position involves equipment and tooling fabrication, as well as training associates to promote continuous process improvements. Responsibilities include timely repairs of operational equipment through root cause analysis, completion of machine enhancement projects, and collaboration with process improvement engineers to standardize work and increase throughput.

Responsibilities

  • Make timely repairs to operational equipment using root cause analysis.

  • Complete machine enhancement projects efficiently.

  • Collaborate with process improvement engineers to drive standardized work, reduce scrap, and increase throughput.

  • Utilize maintenance software to track work progress and materials, ensuring timely completion of work orders.

  • Work with the Process Support Group to identify major equipment-related issues and implement corrective action plans.

  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery and process-related deficiencies using electrical/mechanical skills.

  • Perform general maintenance duties for all facility-related equipment.

Essential Skills

  • Troubleshooting skills.

  • Pneumatics expertise.

  • 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance.

  • PLC and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman card or 10+ years of maintenance experience preferred.

  • Experience in operator basic care and equipment efficiency metrics.

  • Electrical, mechanical, machine rigging, light fabrication, power transmission, and pneumatics knowledge.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC/PLC control systems preferred.

  • Knowledge of paper/nonwovens converting and related equipment preferred.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $79040.00/yr.
