Aerospace Assembler Pay: $24 to $26 per hour (plus 15% shift differential for 2nd shift) Location: Redmond, Washington Shift Times: 1st Shift: 5:30am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday) 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday) About the Role We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our electromechanical assembly team, specializing in the aerospace industry. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and assembling mechanical and electronic components, with a strong emphasis on soldering and interpreting technical documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a leading aerospace organization. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical and electronic systems and components. Perform precision soldering and assembly work on circuit boards and control panels. Utilize diagnostic tools and trade-specific equipment. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings. Support R D efforts by reviewing new manuals and participating in training. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in the shop. Mentor and assist in training new technicians. Conduct in-process and final inspections in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficient in soldering and electronic assembly. Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident. Skilled in using measuring instruments and standard hand tools. Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Basic understanding of motors, pneumatic valves, and lighting systems. Experience with circuit board repair and wiring. Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and comprehension). Preferred Qualifications Experience working under a microscope for detailed soldering tasks. Prior experience in the aerospace industry. IPC certification(s) is a plus, but not required.
