Experience reading machine manuals for machine-specific M-code functions

Job Responsibilities Set up and operate manual lathes, manual mills, CNC lathes, and CNC mills
Edit and code CNC programs using G-code, M-code, and conversational programming
Use CNC programs to control machine movement, cutting paths, spindle functions, coolant, tool changes, and other machine operations
Support daily production requirements and machining schedules
Perform machine setups for standard production and special customer projects
Work with various materials and components to produce machined parts
Review machining instructions, programs, drawings, and specifications before production
Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs as needed to meet part requirements
Inspect machined parts for accuracy, quality, and specification compliance
Troubleshoot machining, setup, tooling, and program issues during production
Support quality-focused production and continuous improvement activities
