CNC Machinist I (Cut Block) - 2nd Shift
Location: Pierceton, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00/HOUR
Position Summary
We are seeking a CNC Machinist I to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for assisting with machine setup, operating CNC equipment, maintaining tooling, and ensuring parts are produced according to quality and ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blues and perform precision measurements.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist with setup and operation of CNC machines and machining centers.
Operate conventional, special-purpose, andputerized numerical control (CNC) equipment.
Run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
Read and interpret blues, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Select and install tooling, fixtures, cutting tools, and materials.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify specifications and tolerances.
Perform basic troubleshooting and identify machining issues.
Conduct and document operator preventive maintenance.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Support tooling and fixture builds as needed.
Assist production in various departments and perform miscellaneous duties such as inspection, deburring, cleaning, packing, and shipping.
Follow allpany safety, quality, and ISO procedures.
Maintain a clean andanized work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
0-2 years of machining experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blues.
Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Knowledge of machining principles and manufacturing processes.
Strong problem-solving andanizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Regularly push and pull up to 20 lbs.
Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Strong visual abilities, including close vision, depth perception, and attention to detail.
Work Environment
Manufacturing and production environment.
Moderate to high noise levels.
Exposure to machinery and production equipment.
Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
