Compensation: $17.00 to $23.00 per hour, Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Electrical Technician under general supervision performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and electrical appliances, wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment; and perform related work as required. Will look after the electrical system of the Resort, respond to faults and wiring issues, and install electrical appliances and repairs within the building. To ensure success as a Maintenance Electrical Technician you should possess a high-level problem-solving skills and good communication skills.

Job Duties:

Routinely inspecting electrical systems wiring, fixtures, and appliances. Understands electricity

Identifying faults and hazards

Troubleshooting system failures

Testing of electrical systems with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters

Providing suggestions for equipment replacement

Adhering to safety and performance standards

Performs preventative maintenance repairs

Installing a breaker

Three way switches, receptables and outlets

Other duties as assigned such as plumbing and maintenance PM in rooms

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license

Electrical experience required and/or electrician qualification certificate

Excellent problem-solving skills

Must have 2+ years experience in maintenance work
