Duties
+ You will provide temporary services to Trident submarines and other US Navy ships moored or docked to shore facilities.
+ You will design, manufacture, assemble, inspect, service, clean, test, maintain, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassembly of electrical equipment.
+ You will have a thorough knowledge of the design, layout, capabilities and operation of the following systems: Caisson ballasting/deballasting, Artesian Pressure Relief, Seismic Monitoring, Floor/Storm Drainage, Salt Water Leakage, etc.
+ You will be Command Board certified to have thorough knowledge of the operation of the drydock.
+ You will maintain all records and logs pertaining to the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of any equipment within the Temporary Service Shop area of responsibility as required.
+ You will be required to develop skill in the leadership, training and mentoring of junior personnel.
+ You will correctly label, run, groom, connect and energize various temporary refit services to ships and shipboard jobsites including
temporary power, lighting, compressed tool air, breathing air, ventilation, dewatering and firefighting equipment.
