Position SummaryEnergizer is looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. This position supports mechanical and preventive maintenance processes, involved in a highly automated EMD Processing facility. If you have superior troubleshooting skills, and manufacturing experience, and you are dedicated to personal as well as organizational success we invite you to apply for this Union position.
Responsibilities- Preventive Maintenance:
- Regularly scheduled inspections, lubrication, and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in machinery and equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, air systems, pumps and hydraulic components.
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Installing new machinery and equipment, as well as maintaining existing systems, including pumps, fans, conveyors, air systems, bag houses and other industrial equipment.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts inventories.
- Problem Solving:
- Using analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of Tools and Equipment:
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment for industrial maintenance.
- Understanding of Blueprints and Schematics:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Working effectively with other team members, communicating findings and progress, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
We we are looking for
High School Diploma or Equivalent: Formal education, often supplemented by vocational training or at least 3-5 years on-the-job experience.
Technical Skills: Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as familiarity with hand and power tools.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze problems, identify causes, and develop effective solutions.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift for extended periods. Lift 35 lbs or more.
Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety procedures and regulations, as well as the ability to work safely.
Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly and concisely.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
Flexibility: Ability to work in different environments and adapt to changing priorities.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Willingness to learn new skills and adopt new technologies.
