Maintenance Mechanic

Order#: NY1534151 Maintenance MechanicPay Rate: $25.00/hr (depends on experience)The primary function of this position will be thermoforming set up however will perform regular preventative and minor maintenance of production equipment and facilities when allowed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Conducts routine Tool Changes on the forming equipment including Mold and Trim tool setup.Lubricates and repairs machinery.Cleans and replaces as necessary all equipment filters such as; air conditioner, water, airlines, oil and electrical panels.Assists in the maintenance of the parts room, conducting regular inventory, and deliveries and pick-ups.Assists other set up associates and maintenance mechanics as necessary.Follows and participates in plant safety/housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment.Remains compliant with SQF / HACCP requirements as per this locations written Food Safety & Quality Policy QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
