Maintenance and Repair Worker

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: FULL-TIME FIELD TECHNICIAN

ELLOREE WATER SYSTEM

Elloree Water System is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Field Technician.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or GED

- Valid South Carolina Driver's License

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Perform manual labor, including repairs to water and sewer lines

- Complete work orders and other assigned duties

- Read water meters accurately and efficiently

- Disconnect and restore water meters as needed

- Replace and install water meters

- Operate machinery and equipment, including department vehicles, utility carts, jet vacs, backhoes, and various tools

- Maintain grounds by cutting grass using riding lawnmowers and weed eaters

- Conduct morning and afternoon inspections of lift stations and check for leaks along roadways

- Fill in holes and perform road repairs as required
