Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician Currently hiring for Maintenance Electrician's in the Hammond, IN area. Hiring immediately. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical equipment, including conveyors, stackers, packaging machines, and ovens. You will also be responsible for calculating electrical loads, determining the sizing of conductors and switch gear, and reading electrical schematics and interconnection diagrams. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including conveyors, stackers, packaging machines, and ovens. Calculate electrical loads and determine the sizing of conductors and switch gear. Read electrical schematics and interconnection diagrams. Work with 480V and 3 phase motors. Use testing devices, including amp probes and voltage meters. Change out and calibrate process sensors, such as level, pressure, and flow transmitters. Troubleshoot PLCs and ancillary equipment. Follow lockout/tagout procedures. Essential Skills Experience in troubleshooting production equipment such as conveyors, stackers, and packaging equipment. Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Skill in working with 480V and 3 phase motors. Work Environment The work environment includes steel-toed boots, work uniforms, safety glasses, and hair nets. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $78852.80 - $78852.80/yr. USW - Union Benefits. Strong benefits package that covers all the majors and more.
