Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking an experienced specialist within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance field. The role involves applying acquired job skills along with company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. The position requires working on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, with occasional deviation from accepted practices. Collaboration involves following established procedures for routine work and requires instructions only for new assignments. Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance and address breakdowns of production equipment. Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as needed. Fabricate necessary machine parts and potentially assemble machines. Read and interpret blueprints. Mechanically repair conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders. Essential Skills Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance. Mechanical maintenance and repair expertise. Preventive maintenance knowledge. Proficiency in pneumatics and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications 5-7 years of mechanical and electrical experience, preferably with metals. Experience in fabrication and industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Basic welding and cutting procedures expertise. Correct use of machinist measurement tools. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically. Capable of overcoming obstacles and completing assignments in a timely manner. Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills. Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr. Brand New RENOVATED facility Monthly "employee appreciation days" during the summer - Tuition Reimbursement - Bonus of 5% of earnings to hourly employees - 401K matching - Accrued Time Off (Will be credited for the time they were on contract) - Holiday Bonuses $100-$350 (Applies to contractors) - Reimbursement for steel toed boots - They will be able to order OMG uniforms with their own money, so they will not have to ruin their own clothes.
