Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and troubleshooting various equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including motor controls and 480 volts. Troubleshoot proximity and limit switches, basic PLCs, and single and three-phase motors. Work with various machinery such as presses, saws, stackers, conveyors, chains, and hydraulics/valves. Conduct general facilities maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks. Diagnose and repair large-scale equipment using troubleshooting techniques. Essential Skills Experience with electrical systems and motor controls. Proficiency in troubleshooting proximity and limit switches, basic PLCs. Knowledge of single and three-phase motors. Experience working with presses, saws, stackers, conveyors, chains, and hydraulics/valves. Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot large-scale equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prefer candidates with experience in sawmill or heavy industrial environments. Work Environment You will work within a sawmill facility. Initial training will be conducted from 7 am to 3 pm for one month, after which you will transition to a 7 pm to 7 am schedule following a 223 shift pattern. The role involves working with diverse and large-scale equipment in an industrial setting. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
