Building Cleaner/ Maintenance Worker

This is a full-time on-site role for a Building Cleaner/Maintenance Worker in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to cleaning and maintaining the building. To keep buildings clean, safe, and orderly condition. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance tasks, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and be committed to delivering high-quality service. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to maintain building systems and respond to maintenance requests efficiently.

Duties:
Building maintenance worker, also known as General Maintenance and Repair Workers, handle various tasks. Most building cleaners and maintenance workers have certain basic duties in common.

Job Responsibility includes cleaning, carpentry, door and hardware installation, lifting of material, drywall, painting, and removing debris.

Learns, understands, and complies with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Responds professionally, politely, and helpfully when dealing with tenants.

Light handyman capabilities preferably.

Qualifications:
Experience in building cleaning and maintenance
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
Identify and report possible repairs
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture
Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning
Reliability and punctuality
Basic knowledge of repairs and maintenance tasks (eg: minor plumbing leaks; replacing electric bulbs, doorknob...)
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking the doors after operating hours
Ability to work well independently and in a team
