MAINTENANCE WORKERThe Laurens Central School District is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications. Salary: $40,000 or more based on experience. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team and support the upkeep and repair of our facilities. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs. Duties also include routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and responding promptly to maintenance requests to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the physical capability to lift, carry, and operate tools and equipment. Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to make a direct impact by helping maintain the safety and appearance of the organizations buildings and grounds.
