**Summary**
As an Equipment Engineer I, you will ensure the smooth operation of automated logistics systems, including cranes, stockers, and lifts. This role involves equipment inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and improvement activities to support stable logistics operations. You will also provide education for controls with plant to distribute company base knowledge for company specific equipment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of cranes, stockers, lifts, and other logistics equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and promptly repair equipment failures and malfunctions.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planning & Execution: Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and enhance reliability.
- Equipment Optimization & Improvement: Participate in modification and improvement projects to enhance equipment performance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain maintenance records and prepare work reports.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with external service providers and work closely with internal engineering and operations teams.
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
1. Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
2. Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Follow established work instructions
- Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE
- Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements
- Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
**Experience:**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of logistics automation equipment (cranes, stockers, lifts, etc.).
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems (PLC, motors, sensors, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and quick-response skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
**Skills:**
- Experience in logistics centers or manufacturing plants handling automated equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
- Possession of relevant mechanical/electrical certifications.
- Willingness to work in shift schedules, including nights and weekends.
