Maintenance Mechanic

Aerotek is currently hiring for a maintenance mechanic in the greater Landover, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:**

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Operate, monitor, and perform minor troubleshooting of equipment to achieve optimum performance

+ Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to processing and packaging equipment

+ Perform maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks using schematics and blueprints

+ Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems

+ Ensure excellent housekeeping practices and maintain GMP standards

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment

+ Knowledge and skills equivalent to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment

+ Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
