The essential job responsibilities of the Mechanic Helper are to assist mechanics in making repairs and performing preventative maintenance inspections on Division vehicles and equipment.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Mechanic Helper role, you must:
-Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence.
-Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver's license from state of residence within trial or probationary period after entering classification.

Physical Working Conditions:
Works inside and outside of shop. Subject to heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing, noise, dust and dirt.
