Due to continued growth, we're hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to hit the road with us. If you’re a highly skilled, hands-on problem solver with broad experience in mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform a wide range of preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repair services on complex mechanical and electromechanical systems. This is a TRAVEL-BASED POSITION, supporting projects nationwide. You’ll work on secure government and commercial sites, so reliability, curiosity, professionalism, and adaptability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance: cleaning, greasing, painting, testing, and calibrating systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle barrier systems, including pumps, motors, valves, and hydraulics.
• Diagnose issues in low-voltage electrical systems, PLCs, relays, and circuits.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Fabricate and perform light welding as needed.
• Accurately document service work and communicate findings to customers and team members.
• Travel nationwide; work may include weekends, nights, and varied weather conditions.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License – Real ID REQUIRED
• Ability to pass a background check for military base access
• Ability to travel nationwide.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Skills & Experience Preferred

• Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial/facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Programming Logic Controllers), including wiring and terminations
• Familiarity with relays, contactors, surge protectors, and related components
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings
• Understanding and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Hydraulic system knowledge and repair skills.
• Welding and basic fabrication skills (certification not required).

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:
$55,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
