- Really preferred certified diesel technician

- Able to do all day-to-day maintenance and repairs

- Experience with small engines, ag equipment and heavy equipment

- Welding and fabrication experience preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Farm Mechanic for this large Washington crop producer. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic / Farm Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, agricultural machinery, and standard gasoline vehicles. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of all equipment and vehicles, particularly during peak farming seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel engines, farm machinery, and gasoline-powered vehicles.

Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake service, tire repairs, and fluid level checks.

Troubleshoot and service hydraulic systems, electrical components, drivetrains, and fuel systems.

Maintain a regular service schedule for agricultural equipment and farm vehicles such as pickups and service trucks.

Ensure all machinery and vehicles are operational and field-ready, especially during busy seasons.

Accurately document service records, repair logs, and maintenance activities.

Adhere to all safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support farm operations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in diesel engine and equipment repairs preferred.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Ability to read technical manuals and diagnostic tools.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Commitment to workplace safety and proper tool usage.

CDL or relevant certifications a plus.
