Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician Currently hiring Maintenance Electrician in the Chicago, IL area. Hiring immediately. Shift: 2nd shift (4:30pm - 3:00am) Job Description As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, replacing, installing, adjusting, and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment. You will diagnose and repair electrical components of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot to resolve extended downtime situations. This role requires experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and configuration. Responsibilities Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical components of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical sources. Troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations. Utilize PLC programming, troubleshooting, and configuration skills. Apply electrical and mechanical aptitude in daily tasks. Essential Skills Troubleshooting mechanical and repair skills. Experience with pneumatics, motor, and conveyor systems repair. Experience with Forklift Management. Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures. Working knowledge of basic tools and their proper use. Knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques. Work Environment The role operates in a manufacturing environment, with facilities located in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and California. Work is performed on the 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am, and involves the use of welding, blueprint reading, and hand tools. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.
