The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems within the distribution center. This includes robotics, conveyor and sortation systems, and powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. This will be a 2nd shift position 3pm-1130pm Monday- Friday. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Maintain and troubleshoot automated sortation systems and robotic equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles. Support installation and commissioning of new automation and robotics systems. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation using CMMS. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety audits and initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with robotics, PLCs, and automated material handling systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing forklifts and conveyor systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards. Forklift certification and experience with CMMS systems are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and confined spaces. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
