Job Title: Senior Maintenance Mechanic

Location: North Chicago, IL

Type: Temp-to-hire opportunity

Pay: $46hour

Schedule: Start on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday) for 3-6 months of training, then move to 3rd shift (rotating 4x4, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Onsite: 100% onsite, no travel required

We're looking for a Senior Maintenance Mechanic who's ready to bring their skills, energy, and know-how to a dynamic facility w every day brings something new. You'll be the go-to pro keeping high-tech production equipment running at peak performance. What You'll Be Doing:

Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on facility equipment and systems and document it like a champ

Rebuild pumps (vacuum, centrifugal, diaphragm), replace parts, and fine-tune machinery for top performance

Fabricate or modify machine parts using shop equipment

Read and interpret blues, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Provide technical support to teammates and assist with training

Pitch in on root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects

Keep tools and work areas safe,anized, and in top condition

What You Bring to the Team:

Strong industrial maintenance background with hands-on experience

Expertise with pump rebuilds, mechanical seals, actuators, valves, and general mechanical systems

Skilled with hand and power tools

Bonus: experience with welding, machining, or pipefitting

Ability to read and schematics and equipment manuals

Intermediateputer skills (MS Windows)

Qualifications:

High school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR

Technical certificate with 5+ years of experience, OR

Associate's technical degree with 3+ years of experience

Proficiency in at least two core maintenance functions

CMRT or equivalent certification preferred

Pay Details: $46.00 per hour
